Social Work and Holistic Health at Asana

At Asana, we are a team of social workers specializing in trauma and mental health. As social workers, we emphasize and treat the interconnectedness of various life aspects, providing a more holistic, comprehensive, and effective method for addressing each client's complex and unique needs.

Many social workers offer assistance outside of a therapy environment, such as by helping their clients access social services and community resources and, if appropriate, referring clients to appropriate care.

means “seat” in Sanskrit and refers to the postures or poses that we practice in Yoga. 

In the yogic view, the body is a temple of spirit. Through the practice of asanas, we develop the habit of discipline and the ability to concentrate, both of which are necessary for meditation.
